Every F-TYPE engine is supercharged to provide a linear delivery of performance, and instant access to high levels of torque
at all engine speeds. Combined with F-TYPE’s advanced lightweight structure, the car delivers high power to weight and
torque to weight ratios.
F-TYPE 3.0 V6 Supercharged 340PS; F-TYPE S 3.0 V6 Supercharged 380PS; F-TYPE V8 S 5.0 V8 Supercharged 495PS.
All engines feature a fast-reacting Intelligent Stop/Start system, delivering improved fuel economy of up to 5 percent.
F-TYPE’s Quickshift 8 speed, close ratio automatic transmission is both fast and refined with closely-spaced gears to keep the
engine within its most effective rev range for longer. The gearbox’s electronic control system monitors the driving situation,
as well as the demands the driver is making from the car, and adapts accordingly to provide a truly dynamic experience.
Dynamic Launch Mode, fitted to F-TYPE S, applies maximum torque during acceleration to deliver a reduction of up to
0.3 of a second in the 0-100km/h time.
F-TYPE is available with a switchable active sports exhaust system for a deep, dramatic exhaust note and a race-car
inspired crescendo.
